just done up a quick feature for upcoming matches and its still in its beta.
similar to position voting, but only players available for the upcoming match will be voting and available for voting.

see a yellow "Match" option on the menu bar? thats meant for guys who are playing on sunday to vote who do u think should play where.

you will see the overall verdict right after you submit your votes and display who are the best few for the respective positions.

along the way, i will try to see how i can better the verdict analysis.

Steady lar!

for the match voting, one can vote multiple positions for each players.

the more votes it collects, the more accurate is the analysis.

ok... based on votes tallied from 5 fellow mates (for now), players who are favourites to fill the following roles are:

GK: Ivan Liew
SWP: Jovan
RB: Kent / Alvin

DM: Donn / Charlton
CM: Wei Jie + Charlton
LM: Tingfu
OM: Ho Soon

ST: Boon Heng

the other positions will be confirmed when more votes come in.

Mebbe we should also vote for the captain or player/coach... sometimes I think no one calls the shots during play... good to have someone at the sideline to scream at players and to see who to sub...

good game folks.

can also say its not so good game considering we were whacked 6 goals without much replies, with the opposition's keeper hardly troubled.

we had to make do with a make-shift keeper today (patrick). even so, i thought he performed well and made a few decent saves.
even though chee boon was playing his second match of the day, he made significant contributions in the defense and looked barely tired (amazing).

personally, i gotta admit this team is in a different league altogether. they are young, fast and did well as a team to contain us in our own half.
even so, i applaud all fellow team mates for putting in their all to enjoy the game, which i did, especially in the trainings we had after the match. i think we should do that more often.

one thing worth mentioning is that this abandoned school has got fine pitch, at least one of the best i have patronized so far.
we can consider booking that pitch more often to play among ourselves.

lastly, congratulation to adrian, alvin and boon heng, for making the closest prediction in the poll for a 6-1 result! (except it is in their favourite)

Steady lar!

Yo Beatles i opened  a poll tp see whether u guys are int. to play on a proper field once a month...

The game started and ended at a frantic pace which the oppenent showed great stamina, pace and team play.
We suffered a crushing defeat as it is one of the toughing games we played so far, nevertheless everyone did their part and we shall be back..... Maybe we can take note of our weakness and improve on them - which i feel playing on a better and proper field will help us to improve us a team.

Patrick showed us that he too has a safe pair of hands and Yazid came despite of the fasting month..Great team spirit.

What do u guys think?

absoulutely fantastic game we had this morning although we lost, but it undermine our lack of physical and tactical abilities against opponents ike this. but we shall not be put away by this scoreline, even the mighty barcelone lost 7-2 before, but can we say they are bad? and if you guys noticed, i think this is only our first defeat of the year! we haven;t really lost much this year and perhaps we really should adopt the proper field suggestion of putting our players in a real field with propoer goal post. also i hope to see more of our regulars coming down on regular weekend basis rather than on match day itself.

also in today's game we weren;t really our usual composed self i must admit we were tensed all throughout the match and the opponent capitalised on this aspect to win the game on such high margin. anyway, i',m on for the proper field and we shuld really thought of today field as our training ground . it was fantastic. Donn thumbs up for the effort!

Their fitness is way better than ours. For much of the games, we were on the backfoot. Especially chasing their pacy forwards took the wind out of our lungs. they look like IPPT gold any time.... if our older players were 5-10 years younger.. maybe will be more of a match up for them..

yeap i tink the idea of booking field 1-2 times per month (maybe towards end of month) is definitely gd
maybe can just collect the money from us start of the month, even if we can't make it in the end still doesn't really matter (not a huge sum anyway)

as for today's game...ma chiam like face the South Koreans of the 2002 World Cup...super fit machines
at least we took some positives out of the game, spur us to book field and get down to serious training (hopefully, haha...)
