International soccer stars David Beckham, Zinedine and Raul have all signed to play themselves the $100 million trilogy Goal!, which is being directed by Danny Cannon. The film stars Kuno Becker as a soccer phenomenon from East L.A. whose abilities take him from the barrio up through the professional ranks. Eventually, he gets a contract with Newcastle United.

Like millions of kids around the world, Santiago Munez (Becker) harbors the dream of being a professional footballer. However, living in the Barrios section of Los Angeles, he thinks it is only that--a dream. Until, one day an extraordinary turn of events has him trying out for Premiership club Newcastle United....

not bad. rather entertaining.

would have rate it a 4 outta 5 stars but i am giving it a 3.5, because they chose to use liverpool as the team to triumph over at the end of the show.
