i watched the full match....betis control the ball very well during the 1st 30min...but their problem is....keep passing round and round only..don't dare to take shots or attack liverpool goal....then liverpool is not much possessions..but once got ball...they will try ways to attack the betis goal....

was quite surprised when real betis played so conservatively, considering its a must-win situation for them. i was expecting 2 strikers with 2 wingers heading for the box when they have the ball, but it was at most 2 betis against 4 liverpool defenders. plus, they were very gentlemen with 50-50 ball.
how did chelsea lose to them in the first place?

Happen to notice that all big name strikers that comes to Pool have problem scoring even thou they are very prolific with their respective clubs??? Even when Owen is around, his goals to appearance ratio is poor.... Considering his performance at Madrid is better even he spends most of the time on the bench... Guess there is something wrong with Pool's style of play....
Think wat they lack is a genuine playmaker... someone in the mould or Riquelme or Aimar who can unlock tight defences...

aimar has been dying to play under his former manager since last season but liverpool doesnt seem keen to fork out 13 millions.
