Did not play well too on match day. Cannot blame poor pitch, cannot blame talkative referee, cannot blame non-communication. Can only blame myself not exerting presence in the middle of park....

The more I think abt it yesterday, the more I think the referee is an incompetent fucker.  I mean, okie, we lost the game... no big deal... they were stronger than us on that day, but the ref is so bloody kelong not to award the penalties, beside trying to be smart-aleck... very unprofessional.

KNN... next time if we ever get him as ref I'll go for his legs just before the final whistle.

Anyway... I think given our lack in depth and our makeshift defenders, we played not too badly.  And next time I'll try to remember to be more composed and round the keeper instead of always shooting on sight... sorry about missing those one-on-one too... sighz...

Agree that the referee was horrible.

for those who couldn't attend the game, well here's a short commentary -

1st 20 minutes - we created the better chances and scored when boon heng slotted in a goal after good exchanges.

20 - 45 minutes - less pressure exerted from our midfield, and opponent start to create chances and scored around the half hour mark to bring the score to 1-1

2nd half - defensive lapses gave them the 3 goals, but otherwise we weren't too poor as we also created our own openings.

some bad decisions -

1. Yellow card at least for their defender when Boon Heng was clear on goal.
2. Penalty when their keeper crash into me after the ball was brought past him.
3. missed a clear foul on the calf by defender on wei jie.
4. Countless of times blowing whistle for no apparent foul.
5. silly jokes about offside ( miles away..)

next time we better look for our old taxi-driver as referee.

actually we didn't really do too bad for the game as we also had plenty of clear scoring opportunities

Chances we almost scored:
3-4 saves by opponent keeper from boon heng
1 shot wide by weijie
2 shots wide by ting fu
1 header hitting the post  during corner.

positives:
Ting fu can take good inswinging corner.
Herman look comfortable in defence.
Alvin with his running i think can play as defensive midfielder

to learn:
we need at least one more defender who can take long goal kicks. can see herman tiring by 2nd half.
we need 1 defensive midfielder need to play deeper back-  center back get dragged out of position by marking their striker.
more bite needed in midfield.
need to pass more from midfield instead of playing ball up too fast.. because when everyone tired from running, midfield deflated.

Overall, the scoreline flattered them. Their team is not strong considering that the ang moh's are more like statue, their tactic only pump ball over our defense line and their stamina, pace isn't that fast either.

If we there's a rematch, I'm very certain that we can match them.

hahaha.. relax man. u hardly play with us, thus its normal that u have a hard time linking up with the fellow midfielders.
the reason why i play u in the centre mid because of ur physique and i thought ur height might give us some advantages. or u are more comfortable in other position?

anyway, its ur first match with us. we will only blame u like how we blame gerald if we lose our next match.

Steady lar!

more matches more matches hahaa....
sorrie abt it too... haven;t been playing for like what.... 10 weeks . due to some personal reasons i was unable to join u guys for the usual kickarounds and to start wif a competitive match on a losing note is the last thing on my mind. i agreed with ho soon that if given a rematch ... we'll be able to match them or win them, cause i seriously dun think they are that strong. anyway... keep up the efforts guys considering we had no substitutes.
