probably the most decent football match thruout the entire tournament with end to end stuff.

guess dortmund is no longer a voodoo ground.

have never seen a more positive italy, dying to surge forward right after the kickoff. 
though their fitness didnt last as well as the germans, they didnt park their bus in front of goal like they always do.

germany's midfield was a better side but the italian overcame it with better defence and sheer determination.

somehow, this tells me final is not going to be as exciting as this is.

zidane's still my favorite player. he deserves the award. his act reminds me of eric cantona with the kung fu kick. but he's still a legend.
