Hi guys

This Sunday, the weekly football is at Bukit Merah Secondary School. See the map here http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel.php?travel_id=1031&travel_site=11457

To get there by car, you have to turn into Lengkok Bahru off Jalan Bukit Merah, and park at the car park just outside the school gate. You can try your luck to park inside the school, but like I said before, the Chinese security guard is irritating.

To get there by bus, you can take 14, 123, 147, 153, 196, 197, 198, 855, 961.

You can try walking from Redhill MRT to warm yourself up too.

Do try to be there at 10.30am and bring a white shirt and a blue one

As this is really a friendly among ourselves, there will be no referee.

Sorry, my error, it's on Sunday morning.

Can everyone help to inform those players who join us but not logged in yet? We have quite a few in recent weeks.

Thanks.

Thanks to the organiser for organising such a good game. The pitch condition was good too. Looking forward to more such games.

I've fixed the next training at Bukit Merah Secondary School on 13 & 27 August.

Same thing, will book from 11am to 1pm, but please try to be there at least 15mins earlier.

Yesterday's turnout was great, and the field size is just about right. I hope we can play there more often too =)

Great pitch (except for 2 "big" potholes near the middle) and amenities...wat a waste we only discover now (but better late than never!).
This is a really good place for us to improve stamina (many guys down wif cramps - 1st time i saw this) and maybe we shld play twice every mth instead of once??

Yeah I think twice a month is good too. The pitch is only $25, which is slightly more than all the car park coupons that we tear at Hong Lim.

Yeah yeah...
Twice a week will be fantastic!!!

Size of pitch is just nice to train up our stamina so we can progress on to the bigger pitches for our friendlies...

Hopefully, we can see more awareness, coordination and movement from each player as compared to the "Wimbledon" long ball approach!!!

Hmm... Need to find a good coffeeshop nearby for our teambuilding after the kicks!!! hahaha

everyone should have trouble waking up this morning, thanks to boon heng, however, i doubt anyone is complaining.
tiring game, but definitely an enjoyable one.

given that a mere switch of flank requires more strength than a goal kick in hong lim, i'm sure we will be a better team when we face the next opponent.

have changed 13 august to bukit merah. so guys, let's see some names!

Steady lar!

Enjoyed the game even though legs are aching like hell. Had to "zi-mo" (self massage) before I could get up this morning...

for the very first time my boots weren't covered with dirts on a wet pitch (avoided being scolded by wife when washing boots in the toilet
