hmm.. advice?

Hey I won't say it's a dumb idea if you can really get a good deal but e way new car prices are nowadays...it's hard if u can find a really good 2nd hand offer.
Btw cut down on your # of years for loan if possible else u can't sell off current car even if depreciation is high.

IMHO, it's quite a dumb idea at this age... unless it's a vintage car like an old beetle or mini.

Just feel that a 2nd car is like, well... 2nd hand.

The owner might have shagged inside before, his kids peed all over the place, his dog pooped on the floorboard, his girlfriend's hair all over the place... etc etc...

ha you beat me to this comment.  well if you intend to get 2 hand car, maybe just get something that is about to be scrapped. in that case, even pee, hair, poop, or whatever also does not matter. :) get something you like. and within budget.
