Somehow I realise we have actually very few regulars leh. This is a rising problem as our old regulars like deric, jon, jovan doesn;t seems to turn up as much as we like them to be ,this could be due to their hectic schedule. I would suggest we reorg the entire team to shape up our players morale and spirit. Maybe last time when we have matches frequently this problem doesn;t seems to surface, and yet now when we boast a 36 players squad we couldn;t even field a 11 aside team against Hanwei team is actually quite dissapointting. I do hope the management of the team will look into this issue and address it.

I agree that this is an issue we need to look into, it may just snowball into a bigger problem when one day that no one bother to even response or turn up in the usual Sunday kickabout.

The crux of the team are working adults and the demands of the hectic work/ family schedule may to be taxing to commit on regular basis, however i urge ppl to try to make an effort to turn up for the love of the game and make Buggis Beatle a force to be reckon with ( at least in Buggis)...

I think we can just try to bring one or two friends over for a kick about, then try to convert them into a "Beatle" ....and we will "MLM" this process. Ha,  soon we will have more members .

yeah, i agree that it has been a bothering issue all these while, given that we have enough names to form 3 soccer teams, yet killing ourselves to gather 11 players.

but wat can we do to discourage players for not responding? we can't cane them.
and how can we encourage players? we can't afford to reward them.

guess neither way is a viable solution.

we have almost 40 players and struggle to gather 10 men weekly.
mathematically, i hope with 80 players, we will struggle less, which is why i keep urging the guys to bring in more friends.
hopefully, with 4 friends being introduced, we can find at least 1 committed player.

i have tried my very best to do likewise, broadcasting thousands of messages at sportskaki and posting in numerous forums to invite more players. but my strength alone is febble, i need u guys to work on it as well.

btw, when did we have a "management" har?

haha... i thought the presence of a management is feasible in terms of both beneficial for the players as well as the team. so i suggest we come out with a comittee to strengthen our foothold. What kent say abt getting 80 pple to commit is somewhat abit out of place, i mean how to get 80 pple? And what abt the jersey issue? like this coming week match not many of the new players will have the blue jersey? so this is another worrying sign too.

getting 80 players to commit? thats nowhere near what i meant. u might wanna read my post again.

whatever it is, my point is quite in line with donn's, bringing more friends to the team, in hope that they can be committed to the game.

let's try to work this out together as a team than to shaft the responsibility to a handful of people (management).
coz the next problem u will face is who shall be in the "management" and how committed they are.

having said that, alvin, you have any friends keen in soccer? have you tried asking the people in asianarowona?
