Yo Boon heng, just found out from the SSC website that the field will be closed for maintenance in Nov and Dec. So perhaps you wanna make early plans to shift your games to somewhere soon. Details are as follows: http://www.ssc.gov.sg/SportsWeb/upload/field%20closure.xls

Thanks Kelvin, for the info, wouldn't have known of the closure as it is not shown at all on the front page of the SSC website.
Most of the 7-a-side school fields are closed, so my suggestion over the weekend to head east or north or west is also futile. Guess SSC is forcing all football players in Singapore to take an enforced break in Nov and Dec.
Guess we have to go back to Hong Lim then?

many are expected to be outta town for the long weekend. thus, it is decided that we have a short break from soccer. furthermore, the haze seem to get worse these days.
and the reason for not having game on 4 Nov....?

folks, for the coming two months, BMSS and most other school fields will be under maintenance or highly unavailable. understand that now we are more accommodated to kick around on a full pitch with goal posts, many will find hong lim park a lot less wanting and challenging.
some other pitches are still available but more expensive. most are snapped up when not booked in advance. at least for the coming months, please help to indicate your attendance at the soonest so that we know if it is worthwhile to get ourselves a pitch.
