I was walking along Orchard Rd when a girl approached me to do a survey. After the survey, let me haf some lucky draw and i got the first prize. Then she said gotta ask her manager to verify the gift. After the manager came, in order to claim the gift, i gotta sit through some seminars. I dun mind the seminar cause my gf doing a program on travelling so decided to stay and listen. The seminar was promised to end in 80mins but i ended up staying there for 3.5hrs. This seminar is about joining as members to Asian Travel Club. I believe this is some timeshares company. Anyway i just wana know if i can claim my gift. And my gift is 8d7N free accomodation to either Aus, Thai, Fiji or Spain. Anyone here has similar encounter? Can the gift be claimed?

 It's time-share.
And in order to collect your so-call free gift, you have to spend thousands of dollars to become their member for the tour.

you can forget about the gift.

Your prize is as good as gone, you can try complaining to CASE though.

they reluctantly gave me the free accomodation claim and a so-called designer watch, after i show utterly no interest in their product.

the entire talk last 40 mins.

btw, its the crappiest watch i have ever seen.

Steady lar!

Its a scam, u sure win something one......then they sweet talk u to a meeting to exchange the gift .then try to hard sell ( time share), untill either u buy or u simply walk off  *usually very pissed off by their strong arms tactic.* This has been going on in Orchard targeting couples wif credit card for many many years liao, cant they think of something else?
