Hello Beatles,

I would like to announce that the friendly match on 31st Jan 2010 is comfirmed. Our referee for that day will be Simon, the referee who Kent suggested me to call when my friend can't get a referee on time.I've informed my friend that his side will settle the referee fees and our side will settle the field booking fee. FYI, the ref fee is $60 and the field fee is $50. Just to remind all that the match will be held at Bukit Merah Secondary School at 11a.m.

Lastly, i would like to say thanks to Alan for preparing our team kit ready for this and future friendlies! KUDOS!!
So see ya all on the match day itself!

Cheers,
Tom

Maybe we could meet slightly earlier during the match day to pass and kick around (get comfortable with the ball) before kicking off the match immediately. Maybe 10am meet, kick around for half an hour before tactic discussion and warm up.

I think what David mentioned is essential.
I am fine with 10am. :)

Itinerary maybe can be something like that.

10am - meetup
10.10 am - short kickabout to get comfortable with the ball
10.30 am - final tactic and game plan discussion
10.45 am - warm up and team photo
11.00am - kickoff! (enjoy the game)

even so, 10am is good with me as well.

but note that the field might be used by those kids and kids' fathers during the 10-11am slot.

Probably, we can start off with formation @ 10am -> photo taking -> warm up -> kickabout -> kickoff................. then celebration.

sounds good.

we try to do phototaking first, as soon as most of the team has arrived.

foul-throw is one of the most common mistakes which give away possession unnecessarily.

for those who ain't familiar with the rules (particularly full-backs and wingers), below is a video on what are things to note when executing a throw-in.

1. both hands behind ur head
2. throw in with a full circular motion
3. both feet firmly on the ground (including your heels)

Special Note: offside rule DOES NOT apply to throw-in.

With confident, you might not win. But without confident, you will definitely lose.

No need to take individual shots one by one to achieve this.. just take frontal full face shot. With or without jersey never mind cos can always superimpose onto the jersey...haha
