Looking good, I have a few suggestions to make.

Might be able to slot kent in at LB, then push Kelvin up to midfield if we are controlling the game, Have TF and Kelvin on Right/Left flanks, and they can swap positions among themselves, with their speed and running it will peg the opponents back in their own half.

Also, I think playing behind the strikers would suit me better, (not saying this just because it's my preferred position :P) Another reason for that is that because my injury is just beginning to heal, and my pace will be a bit off. Also, I can drop deep to collect the ball and play passes to set up Elijah like in the previous match which led to a couple of opporunities.

I've noticed that wingers do not cross the ball often. If this team is not as physical, perhaps we can look into playing the early crosses into the box, rather than trying to work it in all the time. At amateur level, crosses into the box will create havoc, best case scenario one of the forwards will get on the end of it, defenders might make a mess of it and score an own goal, or mess up their clearence leading to a chance for us to score. Many advantages to playing the early cross into the box.

Finally set pieces, Tey is strong in the air, so from corners and throw ins we should get him to push up and use him as the target man.

This match is gonna be the last before I fly off, hopefully I'll leave on a high, here's to a big win!

Go hard or go home.

 hey lione!
i'd like to see kelvin play upfront but personally i prefer a strong left side rather than average double side,
Nazir and Bryan are reasonably good players and they should be able to hold the right side and control it,

As you were saying you had an injury, now i remember maybe you should stay as AM, but i'd prefer elijah there because of his long shots ability. you can be a deep lying forward and beat the offside trap instead..

Hey guys, may I know where's the Match taking place? I would like to go to both support Team BB and to see how you guys play and so on - so I can fit myself into the team ASAP =X

"The GoalKeeper is the second coach in the team - he analyze the game and deploy defenders accordingly. If the coach falls sick, a goalkeeper should be able to fully take over."

The location is located under the Fixture>Next match option I believe.

In any case, quite a number of us playing in the match will be attending the morning's training so you should be able to join us.

Go hard or go home.

Hmm...y not consider Kent at RB and Bryan as RM?
I think Kelvin as LB & TF at LM is a wonderful combination which muz keep.
Alan is very suitable as DM.
Lione I think is most suitable playing behind the striker as he is very "clever" at making runs between the defenders.

great analysis. it's delighting to see that our guys are fully aware of each other strength.
it is a matter of time when we walk onto the pitch without much deliberation.

i am ok to stay at the sideline for the first half of the game, with confidence that Alan and Nazir will do well as DM and RB respectively.
nevertheless, feel free to discuss all permutations while I finalize the starting lineup on the eve.

instead, i would like to prepare u guys on the approach and style of play.

all of us have played as a team relatively long enough to play some decent football.
that means: no more blind long ball, no more foul throws, and no more unnecessary fanciful football with risk of losing possession at critical area.

know when to counter attack, and know when to be composed & slow down the tempo for the team.
discipline yourself to play to the whistle, plus not going out of position.

for every goal conceded, we need to score two to bring the team back to comfort level.
thus, it is important not to expose ourselves to such unecessary vulnerabilities as luck will not always be on our side.

lastly, eat well and stay healthy. it sucks to see any players fall sick on match day itself.

Steady lar!

Kent you're interested in playing  a counter attack approach?
Because i think we have enough ability to play a attack and passing football game,
We should not sit back after scoring one, we should keep flooding forward and defend from the front, which would mean we're in control.

And everytime we score a goal, pretend we didn't, so we'll keep trying and scoring whenever of asking.
And listen to the whistle like what kent said, it's very important because as you can see Drogba scored a clearly offside goal when he knew it was offside but he played to the whistle.
Football is unpredictable (:

my idea of counter attack is not soak and strike.
but to use it to convert unsuccessful opposition corners into attacking opportunities.

yes, we have enough attacking options to run at their defense right from the first whistle.
but it is quite impossible to do that extensively for 90 minutes.
we ought to know when to take control and let the oppsition do the running.
which is why i have been emphasizing on passing game recently.

anyway, the key is not to panic, dictate the tempo and improvise as the game goes along.
the opposition will know where to attack when they see a kan chiong spider. just don't let them spot us in those situations.

whoa so much serious discussion going on here, really nice to see ! (: i think the trick is to make them expose their "kanchiongness" before we do. all the pressuring within the first 10-15 minutes is extremely crucial to achieve this psychological edge. so far it has worked pretty well in both matches, giving us 2 goals! yeah, of cause theyll realized that we are not capable for keeping this up for the entire game but so what? damage has been done! :D

anyone knows the size of the field on sunday?

i think it would be good idea for kent to be at the sidelines for the first 1/4 of the match..so he can analyze the opponents for us and give us a hairdryer during the 1st half break. aka 1st match
haha

From what I see in this discussion, be it we win or lose this Sunday, BB is already the bigger winner because everyone realli make and effort to analyse & contribute feedbacks to strength the teamwork.

Yes...this is our kind of football...control the game, dictate the tempo. Attack and defend as a unit.

TOTAL FOOTBALL!

Would be great if we can play the game like this with such teamwork.

Wah nice to s@@ so many ppl being involve now...great that we are all discussing abt tactics and formation..at times defend might be pushing too much and eventually tire ourselves out.

& since we have Alson this Sunday Tey or Me can actually start as subsitution. When when we r leading and wanna hold down the fort we will have strong and fresh legs for defend!

But most importantly we r going there to have lots of FUN!!!! & I agree wad Elijah said. If Kent is at the sidelines he can analyze the opponent and secondly he can pressure the opponents with fresh legs!
