HAHAHA..... I just found out I already played 148 games for bugis beatles...since 2005.... from bugis play till hong lim, and now currently bukit merah sec.....
I remember the times at bugis...the security guard don't let us use the toilets...=( good old times.....
another 2 more games! =)

u have long past that milestone if u include those games we played back at bugis, prior to this website, so no award.

unless u consider him playing like 9 players...

You still in contention for the "Player's choice footballer of the year" award though..to be given to the player who has the most M.O.M ratings throughout the year 2010 . Its a straight fight between Kelvin, Tey and you for the contention this year unless some "dark horse" comes along and sweeps up the remaining M.O.Ms for the year to overtake you guys.
For those interested in placing bets, the opening odds are as such:
Ting Fu - 1.90
Kelvin - 2.05
Tey - 2.10

I am thinking along the line whether should we have more the 1 award to be given away at the end of the year.
1) BB Player of the Year 2010 (player that accumulate more pts)
2) BB Most dedicated Organiser of the Year 2010. (player that accumulate more points for organising training / matches)
3) BB Favorite Player of the Year 2010. ( player that accumulate more positive comments)
4) TBA...........
By this, new players might also be motivated even if they only join us not long ago cos current point system might be quite difficult for new players to catch up and win the title.
Just my 2 cents worth. Cheers!

These are in the plans. Though the total number of awards up for grabs are still not finalised by we will surely have the following.
1) BB Player of the year 2010 (player that accumulate more pts)
2) BB Player's Choice footballer of the year 2010 (player that has the most M.O.M perfomance ratings for the year)
3) BB newcomer of the year 2010 (for nominated players that have joined the club in 2010 and had done well)
4) .......
I've even spoke to Kent about a BB end-of-the-year BBQ/Dinner cum award night for team building and award presentation with the cost partially sponsored by team fund so these are in the pipeline.
We'll also need to set up a committee of volunteers to plan for this event somewhere in July or Aug.
- Someone to take charge of the prizes (for the awards or even lucky draw prizes).
- Someone to take charge of the F&B.
- Someone to source for the venue, etc.
Hopefully we can make it a annual event for the club starting this year. We'll discuss more on this in later dates.

i always thought david's suggestion of a year-end bbq event is a fantastic idea.
definitely an appropriate event to give out the awards which we planned out beginning of the year.
