Tonite is the night man.... mouth watering clash. One of the team will defnitely be strike off tonite...
Our prediction pool is getting more exciting by the day....i'm quite sure 2 out of the 4 teams remaining in the pool will have a winner takes all face off in the final on 12 July unless something shocking happen..
Quite even if you look at it. On one end we have brazil and Holland on the other end of the table we have Argentina and Spain. Should be interesting an wkend.

actually, thats not the case. if none of the predicted team win the world cup, the most advanced prediction will win the pool.

I'm not really a betting guy but hey, its the World Cup. Its once in every 4 year. Even my company is playing so here at BB maybe we can play something similar just for the friendly fun of it?
How it works? - Players will chose which team they think will win the world cup. - Indicate your choice by the cut off date of 17 June (when all teams had played their 1st match) after which you cannot change your choice. - For example, $5 will be collected from the players who wanna join the game which will go into the pool.
How much will one wins? - It will depend on total number of participant joining the pool. If there are 20 participant, the total pool money will be $100 to be won. And if there are 3 participant choosing brasil for example and Brasil won, the pool money will be splitted among the 3 winners.
When do we start the money collection? - Those who wanna play can make payment during our next training on 20 June. - List of participant and their choice will be displayed here by 17 June for transparency. - Winners can make their collection after the final in 17 July (or after all the chosen team by the players had been eliminated).
What happens if all the teams chosen by the participants did not win the WC? - If that happens, the winners will be those whose chosen team advanced the furthest in the competition.
Anyway, the above is just an example of how we're playing it in our office... not sure if you guys are interested for something similar?

Alamak. No offense, nick, but i like to play bet against the odds. Don't think many would trust maradorna's motivational abilities.. I take argentine then.
