Yeah...good idea, but i'm sure the organisers had tot of that already. Perhaps it's monetary issue - afterall, not everyone registered player comes regularly. So payment per pax is difficult to be fairly distributed.

What about each player brings 2 different colours to training - eg. White/Blue or White/Red. Then, after selection into 2 teams, jus wear either colour to differentiate the teams.
Preferably the shirts should not have stripes or significant areas of the opposing colour, eg. White w/ blue stripes...

I guess we have approx 15 vest should be more than enough for a team to wear while another without the vest.
It will not be given to individual but will issue on the training days itself and collect back at the end of the training.

Cost $3.45 x 15 = $51.75 (perhaps can fork out from team fund) (dunno required shipping fee a not)

Issues:
- Who is willing to keep the jerseys?
- Who is willing to volunteer to issue and ensure that the number of vest given out is collected back on that day?
- Who is willing to in charge of washing the vest? (dun expect people to wear stink and dirty vest right?)
- If individual buy your own vest, there might also be a possibility that some forgotten to bring and it will defies the purposes.

As long as those issues are settled or found suitable people to take care of all this, I guess the "BB bosses" should not have any objections.

yup. that was being discussed before.

the cost won't be too big of an issue, it is more of transporting the bibs on weekly basis.
at the rate how some of us perspires, the bib will be dripping wet after the game. washing it is a must and will be another chore.

i wouldn't suggest to burden the organiser as they already have their plate making sure that every trainings are carries out smoothly. (e.g. orientating the new players)
plus, it would inconvenient the organiser more if he doesnt drive.

given that we have home and away jersey, which is blue and white, we could utilise it and encourage our players to bring both colors.
for those who have yet to obtain their bb jersey can simply bring shirt of similar color.

u could do the club and organisers a big favour by being our CVO (chief vest officer).

i agree with kent we can try to bring blue n white shirt or bb jercey

Frankly speaking.. the current practice of "Shirt" vs "Shirtless" is the most economical and hassle-less. It also does not require players to bring a specific coloured top... Why try to change something that is already working? :)

I agreed that "Shirt" vs "Shirtless" is one of the best way but it is definitely not a healthy way. Lotsa players got sunburn as our training is in the afternoon and (touchwood) it may leads to skin cancer.

My suggestion is that it will be best if monthly organiser will also be in charge of handling and washing of the vests, in return his fees will be waived for the month.
As the vests are apparently thin, its easy to dry and if you fold it nicely, it fits nicely in a small bag.

 I think a better investment is to buy sun block and make use it diligently. Even with shirt on, there's no way to avoid sunburn on the face, arms, neck or legs. Unless we are fully covered? :p

my stand is pretty neutral on this aspect, be it shirtless or bib.
i've been playing shirtless for the last 10 years without sunblock, yet i'm perfectly ok if my side opted to wear a bib.

i would say that wearing a bib goes down well with the majority, except those who like to run around topless (u know who u are).

Frankly, I don't like playing topless, mainly becos of the sun, but there are other reasons too. I'm sure they are others who feel the same cos i do hear some guys whining when their team is the "Shirtless" side.
