an additional note.
i understand majority of the players have great desire to play strikers' role, score goals and to be the next torres.
though there's nothing wrong with having inspiration, it is rather impractical to have field 8-9 strikers & attacking wingers, leaving 2 poor souls holding the fort coupled with a reluctant keeper. and it doesn't make the captain's job any easier by insisting to play only goal-scoring positions.
there's always 2 halves to the game. one suggestion is to beef up your defensive & passing skills in one half, and practising your crosses and shooting capability in another. you can suggest to your captain that u're ok with def/mid role, but like to try more offensive role in the second half or vice versa. only then will you groom yourself to be a more versatile and complete player.
ultimately, football is a team game where the side has the best teamwork always win. i doubt it is very fun to leave ur team mates to do all the defensive work, yet you hardly touches the ball upfront & score zero goal for the whole of 90 mins.
