It's always good to hear our players wanting to explore opportunities to improve their skills.

While both camps are right with their reasoning, I guess we just have to admit that the our hands are tied with 2 hours constraint.
With the caretaker having to chase us out every Sunday simply shows that we can't get enough of our usual game, let alone planning more activities.
I would very much like to extend the duration (even on occasional basis) but subject to availability.

Till then, I would avoid deviating our game proper and round up these suggestions:

Before the game
Players are encouraged to come before 10:30am. If we are in luck, the field could be vacant and would be suitable for any form of drills while we're waiting for the rest of the players.

After the game
For any reason that our game ends early, we could spontaneously organise some routines for those who are willing.

Alternatively, gather those who still have half-tank left and proceed to GESS for extended session.
Not necessarily we need a full squad. For basics, you just need balls and pitch. For other training routines, 5-6 players would suffice.

While waiting..
Kelvin is a fine example - who hardly sit still when he is substituted and train all by himself.
For those who are waiting for your turn to play, you could gather the rest of the substitutes for simple monkey game or brush up your weaker foot. (just don't kick the ball over the fence)

If you admire someone's dribbling/passing/shielding abilities, all you need to do is to ask. I'm quite sure our team mates are more than willing to share.
At times, one-on-one coaching could be a lot more effective than group drills.

Change in game style
Only if our weekly captains are agreeable, we could adopt subtle tweaks to our usual game. e.g. RJ's suggestion on no aimless goal kick or long ball, but emphasizing on short passes.
So long it doesn't change the landscape of the game.

Stamina & Fitness
A Ferrari with quarter tank can only go so far. If players have great desire to improve, work on this primary attribute.
It is no secret that TF & Lione can always last 90 mins with their marathon & regular jogging.

Whichever route we take, one advice to all Beatles (including the young ones) is to avoid over-exerting yourselves.
Players are especially prone to injures when they are fatigue.

Most importantly, enjoy the game!

Steady lar!

            I second this notion.

And anyone who is keen to improve your vision to make that killer pass, can join me for an hour of Sunday marketing before the game. We will start with spotting the best veggie, fish and meat admist the Sunday crowd. *hehe*
