Hey guys, there will be a friendly match against Tingfu's contacts this coming Sunday, the 19th of JUNE at 3pm.

The match will be held at QUEENSTOWN Secondary school, 1 Strathmore road

Do take note that the approach we take towards friendly matches differ from normal trainings, in the sense that we will seek to put out the STRONGEST team possible in order to win the game. Hence the number of slots available for the game are limited, as well as being open only to regulars. Do take note as well that even if you do sign up for one of the slots, there is no guarantee that you will feature in the match, or if you do, get much playing time, depending on the overall strength of the squad and how the game is going etc. If you feel you are confident enough in your abilities to make a contribuition to the team, by all means do sign up for the game, otherwise, do come down to support the team if you are free, sometimes it can be little things like the support that makes all the difference in games.

Feel free to contact me personally, either via facebook or sms@ 9640 3636 if you have any questions.

I will also be collecting a fee in the range of $5-$7 per player, regardless of whether you play or not. Keep this in mind when signing up for the slots.

For the regulars who already know they are in the match squad, we will be wearing BLACK on the day, and do take note that there will be training in the morning as well, so I'll leave it up to you guys to decide if you want to risk tiring yourselves in the morning before the match, if you think you can handle a training and the match, by all means please attend both. If you are indeed attending the training in the morning, do bring along your match gear, as there is a high chance of us going somewhere after training to wait for the match.

Go hard or go home.

Gentle reminder...Artificial pitch are always difficult to play. Especially when you never/seldom play on one before.

The 'grass' is short, so the ball runs faster on the surface, it seems to be always running away from you even if the pass is just slightly overhit or misplaced.

And, attackers will find those long passes over the defense difficult to retrieve because of the relatively harder ground which helps the bounce of the ball. So the accuracy & weight of each pass is important.

Some of you might also find that hitting a good high pass is more difficult or takes more effort due to the artificial blades and the height of your boot studs.

The plus point of playing on artificial pitch is you can take your eyes off the ball for a second when receiving a pass becuase you don't have to worry about the ball bouncing away awkwardly on a bumpy surface.

Good Luck...& enjoy the experience. See what you may learn from this match or the opponents.

Jason Loh!! Hahaha!! Don't anyhow arh u. Hahaha!! Well, i can play at Centre Def but im not use to it. I prefer playing out wide unless im playing as a striker. Furthermore, a gentle reminder, do bring plenty, i mean ALOT of water since we are playing on an artificial pitch and we are also wearing black.

 What sms? Didn't get anything.

Anyway,we have to stick to the policy of regulars only, if we make exceptions, people will start complaining etc. Try to come more often!

I think better not speculate on who play what position till the actual day and let the captain decide. In any case, more important to get a balance over any reliance on a single department.
