Hi guys, please be informed that the venue for the BB challenge next Sunday has been changed to Queensway Sec instead of Bt Merah due to shortage of goalposts at Bt Merah Sec.

Advantages of new venue:
- Same centralize location as Bt Merah Sec
- Synthetic Turf pitch
- Available of smaller goal post for our tournament usage

Disadvantages of new venue:
- pitch size smaller than Bt Merah
- there's booking before and after our slots so we only have 2 hr playtime

Due to the limitation in play time, we may have to adjust/reduce the play time slightly for each game. We will keep all posted once we confirm this.

Meanwhile, players are expected to be punctual as we will start the games on time. Will be listing out the actual schedule within these few days so do take note.

Latest update for Bugis Beatles Challenge Trophy:

1) A replacement player (Irwan) has been assigned to replace Minh Ann from Team D who is uncontactable.

2) Special thanks to Louis who has agreed to help out as an official referee of the tournament so we'll only need 1 referee rep from each team for now instead of 2.

Captains/Players/Referees,

We are now days away from the inaugural BB Challenge Trophy.
On need basis, we will be rolling out general updates & reminders via this thread. Thus, stakeholders may wish to subscribe to this thread.

While David & I will always be approachable for enquiries & clarifications, our hands may be full with administrative works & player role on tournament day, with one eye on the time schedule.
Thus, if you have any doubts, now is the best time to bring it up.

Updates & Reminders

Weather
We are at the mercy of the weather.
In case of really bad weather, instructions will be disseminated to you via your captains. Thus, it is important to provide valid contact details and stay contactable.

Gloves
I have two extra pairs of gloves from Jason, but teams are advisable to prepare your own gloves in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Jersey colour
Be sure to bring the right colour!!

General rules
There is no offside.
Backpass rules applies. meaning keeper cannot handle the ball passed by his own team mates.

Boundary & Balls
Please be familiar with the boundary map (shown below), especially the penalty area.
We will be using disc cones as indicators, shown in the yellow shaded area.
It is up to Referees' judgement to determine the penalty area in the event there is any infringement around the zone.

Given the close proximity between 2 fields, balls are expected to cross over to the other side quite frequently. Teams, please bear with it. Referees, stop play if necessary when that happens.
We will be using two different coloured balls for either pitch to avoid confusion.
If balls go over the fence, substitutes from the responsible team will retrieve it.

Steady lar!
